House of Joy Hospital
The House of Joy Hospital in Kayirikiti Village was founded on a vision to provide accessible, high-quality medical care to individuals who cannot afford treatment at established clinics. Recently elevated to full hospital status, House of Joy continues to expand its services.
Okoa believes that all people - regardless of socioeconomic status - should have access to a lab, trained medical professionals, a full pharmacy, and necessary surgical interventions.
Founded in loving memory of Cailyn Nelson and generously supported by the Stafford Family along with medical professionals from the Okoa Refuge community, House of Joy has become a trusted beacon of healing since opening in July 2017.

Our vision at House of Joy Hospital is to provide quality and affordable medical care to everyone who walks through our doors. However, we cannot do this alone! As we build our patient volume and our reputation within the village and the greater Masaka, we need amazing people like you to stand with us! Your donations help us keep care affordable and accessible to the most vulnerable families in Masaka and beyond. Donate to House of Joy Hospital and become a vital part of transforming healthcare in Uganda.
