Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve others and spread God’s love in East Africa? Okoa Refuge needs your help! We’re currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and support our efforts. Volunteering for Okoa from within the United States can be incredibly impactful!
No previous experience is necessary – all you need is a passion to be part of something bigger – an exciting, growing organization who exists to spread the love of Jesus throughout East Africa. Volunteering with Okoa Refuge is a rewarding experience that will allow you to connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute to a meaningful cause. Together we can make a difference!

As a prospective volunteer you can expect a diverse range of opportunities to serve with Okoa stateside including remote opportunities if you are not in the Jacksonville area.
Current needs include: Event Support, Administrative Support, Program Assistance, Outreach and Advocacy
