Mission Trip Costs
How Much Does a Uganda Mission Trip Cost? It depends on whether you’re interested in joining us for a Mission Trip or a Vision Trip. We’ll cover both here:
Short-Term Mission Teams
Uganda mission teams are 8–25 people. These trips are 10 days long (including travel days) and focus on providing a hands-on, missional, and evangelical experience. Eager to spread the love of Jesus? Like getting a little uncomfortable? Then, you’ll be awesome serving sacrificially alongside our passionate Ugandan staff.
TRIP COST: $2,000 PER PERSON
The $2,000 covers most things from the time that you arrive in Uganda until you depart. Items NOT covered include:
- Airfare (Can be booked by Okoa US Team or independently)
- Personal Items
- Entry Visa (Must be applied for online and received beforehand)
- Vaccinations (Yellow Fever is REQUIRED. Others are optional but recommended.)
- Souvenirs
- Snacks, sodas, or any food other than what is provided at mealtimes
Vision Teams
Vision teams are 3–12 people. These trips are 7 days long (including travel days) and focus on interactive experiences specifically with the ministry areas of Okoa Refuge, providing a glimpse of how the organization functions on the ground. These trips are fantastic for pastors, business owners, corporate partners, doctors, and current or potential partners.
TRIP COST: $1,000 PER PERSON
The $1,000 covers most things from the time that you arrive in Uganda until you depart. Items NOT covered include:
- Airfare (Can be booked by Okoa US Team or independently)
- Personal Items
- Entry Visa (Must be applied for online and received beforehand)
